Surprise Spring Clean Up Event - Mar. 13
The Spring Clean-Up Event is for Surprise residents only. Residents will be required to show proof of residency by presenting an Arizona drivers license and a electric bill both showing home address to Waste Management Weigh Station.

The residents can dispose of a single load that weighs up to 2,000 pounds and contains Residential Waste at no cost.

Hazardous items will not be accepted at the Spring Clean-Up Event. Items such as paint, tires, pesticides and pool chemicals will be collected at the City of Surprise Household Hazardous Waste event, Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Public Works Maintenance Yard at 13433 W. Firefox Dr.

Second Sundays in the Park- free music/entertainment - Mar. 14
Second Sundays in the Park will feature roaming entertainment such as clowns, magicians, jugglers and live music performance by Walt Pitts. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy free entertainment.

This hands-on class will teach you how to set your sprinkler/irrigation timer and how to take control of your landscaping issues.
